This is my final theater drawing. I think it turned out pretty well. I finished up the top part and shaded a little on the walls. A little more time would have made this drawing even better, but I'm pleased with my final product.

I continued to shade the bottom and started shading the top area. So far the drawing seems to be coming together well, and the shading shows clear perspective of the drawing. I need to finish the top part and then my drawing will be complete.

Today I finished up the lower part of the theater and started on the top part. I focused on drawing the middle gray area and I do not think I will be able to do the pictures up on the wall. Although this top part seems easy, I need to make sure I do a good job otherwise it could take away from the bottom part of the drawing.

Today we continued to work on our theater drawings. I am getting close to being finished and all I have left to do is shade and add minor details. I worked on my shading today, and I think it is clear through this drawing that my shading has improved. This is a drawing that requires good shading in order to show clear perspective.

This is day 3 of the theater drawing. Today I finished off my main structure and added most of the detail and shading. I checked my right angles and drew my horizontal lines. The main thing I focused on was the shading, and I feel I have done a good job and that my shading allows for good perspective. There are still details I need to add and various parts I need to touch-up, but my drawing is coming together.

Today we continued to work on out theater drawings. It is important to note that I am sitting on the far left facing the entrance to the theater. Where we are sitting will greatly effect the outcome of our drawing because our angles and our whole perspective will be different. So far I feel my drawing is going well, I need to make sure all my angles are correct and that my horizontal lines are 90º.

Today we went to the theater and made our first attempt at drawing what we see. For this drawing we will be mainly using the clock method, as well as all of the other things we have learned so far. This drawing will not be easy, and I will need to be careful that I am as precise as possible on my angles.

Today I finished the box drawing. I added a couple of more boxes and added some detail to make the structure look like a building. I made sure to only shade certain areas in order to have good perspective. This drawing combined perspective drawing, shading, attention to detail, and using a horizon line all in one.

Today we learned the clock method. This is where you hold the triangle up to your eye where it matches the angle of the object you are drawing. You then bring that angle down to your paper and copy it over. If you work precisely then your angles should be accurate and you should have an accurate drawing. Today I also started the box drawing. I am using the method of using a horizon line to draw my angles. So far I feel my boxes are looking accurate and the perspective is correct. The angles seem to be lining up well.
